TEACHING APPLICATION OF CRICOID PRESSURE ( AMOUNT )
1. Pressure of 3kg on the scale approx to 30N, ask your technician or PG to try what they think is 30N and see how many get it right ( of course don't allow them to see the readings on the scale)
2. The 60 mls syringe is closed on one end and ask them to depress it using their thumb and index finger, depression 20 mls equates to 30N.
You can do it with 20 ml syringe but here the depression by 10 mls equate to 30N
